Camp Hope

The mission at the Family Justice Center of Stanislaus our goal is to help break the cycle of violence and we can start that at a young age.

Camp Hope gives the children in our community an opportunity to be children and have a childhood. Camp Hope America is the leading program to help children who have been impacted by domestic violence. It is based on a “Challenge by Choice” model that praises children for observing and developing character traits such as, hope, courage, and determination. We hosts great events that revolve around our Camp Hope program, this is not just a weeklong event but a program that creates a yearlong family.

The Camp Hope program here at the Family Justice Center of Stanislaus is run by our Youth Program and Camp Hope Site Coordinator. Our coordinator does everything possible to make Camp Hope completely free for all participants. Each year we run one week of camp in the summer and follow a yearlong model to have the most impact on our children. We have information nights and events leading up to the week of camp.
